§ Tuition & Payment
Set in advance. Paid in instalments.
Every price WIATech charges is published here in full — the diplomas, the Foundation Pathways, the deposits, and the monthly payment plans. You pay only for what your assessment shows you need, and you can spread the cost across the programme.
Advanced programme
tuition.
The price of each Tier 2 diploma, in full. This is the tuition for the programme itself — applicants who still need foundations add a Foundation Pathway (§ 03).
NLe = New Leones. Tuition is the same whether you enter directly or through a foundation pathway — how you pay is covered below.
Pay for what you
actually need.
Your technical assessment decides your route. Two applicants for the same diploma can pay very differently — because one needs foundations and the other doesn't.
Direct entry
Clear the assessment and you pay the diploma tuition only — no foundation costs.
Starting from foundations
Routed to foundations? You take a single, better-priced Foundation Pathway for your target diploma, then the diploma itself.
Already partway
If you've cleared some foundations, you pay only for the ones you still need — never for a gate you've already passed.
ENG 70 is free
English & Communication runs free in parallel for anyone on a foundation pathway. It is never a hidden fee.
DGL 30 only if routed
The pre-foundation digital-readiness bridge is NLe 1,800, charged only if the digital-literacy diagnostic routes you to it.
Instalments throughout
A deposit secures your place; the balance is paid monthly across the programme. No need to pay it all upfront.
Foundation
Pathways.
Each diploma has one named pathway — the exact Tier 1 foundations an applicant starting from the foundations needs, bundled at roughly NLe 450/week versus NLe 600–NLe 750/week bought one at a time. You still complete and certify each course individually.
A pathway is a price, not a new qualification — the foundations inside it keep their own assessments and certificates. Explore the foundations →
A deposit, then
monthly.
Foundation Pathways: 20% deposit, balance over the pathway. Diplomas: 10% seat deposit, balance over the programme. The official price never changes — instalments just make it affordable.
Diplomas
Foundation Pathways
DGL 30, if needed: NLe 1,800 — NLe 900 × 2, paid before the foundation pathway begins.
The full route,
end to end.
If you enter with no foundations cleared, this is the complete cost — pathway plus diploma. Most applicants pay less, because the assessment waives the foundations they can already demonstrate. DGL 30 is extra only if the diagnostic routes you to it.
The two small fees
around tuition.
What you pay before your programme begins — a non-refundable registration fee, and the deposit that starts your tuition.
Paid at application · non-refundable. Covers processing, assessment review, and faculty interview time.
A first share of your tuition — 10% to start a diploma, 20% for a Foundation Pathway — paid on acceptance and counted toward your balance, not an extra charge. The rest is paid monthly.
The terms,
in plain language.
Everything that governs what you pay — and what you don't — stated plainly.
Pay only for what you need
The assessment is the single source of truth. You are never charged for a foundation you can already demonstrate.
Price protection
Once you begin a Foundation Pathway for a target diploma, your diploma price is locked for a defined admission window — so finishing foundations never costs you a later price rise.
Individual certification stands
Buying a pathway bundle does not collapse the courses. Each foundation keeps its own assessment and WIATech certificate.
Standalone is always possible
You can buy a single foundation on its own and join the next scheduled cohort for that course — the bundle is a saving, not a requirement.
No hidden English fee
ENG 70 is free and optional. It is never folded into a bundle or programme price.
